Peer Review

Her work is like a phoenix
Not in the way it perpetually rises from the ashes
So much as it reliably, inevitably, habitually
Goes up in flames

Her attention is like that of Cerberus
Divided, unruly, and frankly
Not that sharp

Her thoughts like the hydra
Every story branching and any hint of a point
Only birthing yet another tangent
