NaPoWriMo 2021: Day 16

Prompt: relax with the rather silly form called Skeltonic, or tumbling, verse.

[I definitely did this one wrong, but the rhyme was too good not to keep chasing]

oh, to once more be child
enjoying the days of summer mild
filled with adventures yet un-filed
and sleepy hairdos left unstyled
chasing fairies in the wooded wild
the woes of age openly reviled
disputes so quickly reconciled
clean outfits so quickly defiled
naivety waiting to be beguiled
the life upon which heaven smiled
