is how that plays into my everyday life. It’s like a new lens that allows me to see situations and occurrences for what they really are.
Times when I am stressed out with school and don’t know how I can possibly accomplish everything I need to in the limited time frame? Christ is there to save me. I don’t know how, but he lightens the load or increases my productivity and focus, and it all works out and somehow gets done. (Mosiah 24:14-15, John 14:26)
Times when I am feeling down or alone or scared and uncertain about the future? Christ once again comes to the rescue. I feel the calming presence of His love wash over me and remind me that He’s already been there, and He knows how to help. (Alma 7:12, John 14:18)
Times when things are going great, everything seems to be going smoothly and life is whizzing by? Christ steps in to remind me to be grateful and appreciate the joy of this life. (2 Nephi 2:25, D&C 59:21)
It’s Easter time, and as I think about my Savior’s sacrifice this year, I am undeniably aware of the fact that HE LIVES. He is a part of every detail in my life. I KNOW that the Atonement was not just a payment made justice, to offset the price of our sins. It applies to every aspect of our lives. It offers redemption, it offers hope. It also enables, inspires, lifts, and sustains. Unbearable suffering was a choice that our perfect, sinless Brother chose to make, because of His perfect love for us. He sees us for who we can become, and so to Him, it was well worth the sacrifice. Yet He does not stop there…He remains with us in every trial. Every step of every journey, He is here to guide and uphold us.
I really can’t even express how amazing I think that is. 🙂
